Delete your QuitBet account

Option 1: Delete it in the app (fastest)

1. Open QuitBet and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Tap the Settings gear at the top of the screen.
3. Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
4. Tap Delete account again to confirm.

On Android, if your subscription has ended, tap Delete account at the bottom of the "Renew your subscription" screen instead. On iPhone, Settings is only available while your subscription is active, so if it has ended, use option 2.

Your account is deleted right away. If your connection drops partway through, QuitBet shows "Deletion pending" and finishes the next time you open the app online.

Option 2: Ask us by email

If you can't open the app, or you don't see the button:

1. Email support@quitbet.co from the email address of the Google account (or, on iPhone, the Apple account) you signed in with.
2. Use the subject line "Delete my account".

We may ask you to confirm that you control that email address before we act on the request. We'll reply when your account has been deleted.

Used QuitBet without an account?

Without an account, your progress is stored only on your phone. To delete it, uninstall QuitBet, or use Settings → Reset my progress.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in the store you bought it from:

• Google Play: Play Store app → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → QuitBet → Cancel subscription.
• App Store: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → QuitBet → Cancel Subscription.

What we delete

When your account is deleted, we delete:

• Account information: your email address, display name, and the link to the Google or Apple account you signed in with.
• Recovery data: your onboarding answers, quit plan and goals, daily check-ins, urges, moods and notes, relapses and streaks, savings figures, habits and tasks, and your progress in programs and lessons.
• Community content: your posts, comments, likes, chat messages, and notifications. Community posts that other people can see are deleted or de-identified.
• Subscription records we keep for your account. The store's own purchase history stays with Google or Apple.

We delete this data within 30 days. Copies in our backups are deleted within 90 days.

We don't store your AI coach conversations on our servers. Your chat history is saved only on your phone, and uninstalling QuitBet removes it.

What we keep, and for how long

• App usage data (product analytics): up to 24 months, then deleted or aggregated.
• Support emails, including your deletion request: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.
• Ad measurement events, such as installs and purchases, that the app sent to our advertising partners: they keep them under their own policies. These events don't include your name, email address, or recovery data.
• Information the law requires us to keep, or that we need to deal with a legal claim, for as long as that requirement lasts.
